Hello everyone,
Choose a Dynasty of your choice unless I specifically assigned one to you. Read your notes and the book and decide what the ten most important things to know about that dynasty are in your opinion. Then write the ten things and explain what each one is and why its important to the time period.
Also include a 3 quotes from the time period or about the time period if you can find them. Check google for quotes.
Please type the TOP 10 and email it to me if possible.

Due Thursday or Friday: Write 8 Multiple Choice Questions
Please write a quality multiple choice question for each of the following civilizations. Be sure the multiple choice question has at least 8 words in the questions and that the answer choices are at least 3 words each. The easiest way to make an answer choice longer is to explain your answer choice with more words. For example, if my answer choice was "Edmonds" I could make it longer by saying "Edmonds, a social studies teacher at Lake City High School"
Also, be sure you don't write questions all about politics. Do some from different parts of the PERSIAN categories.
Write one MC question for each of the following:
Maya, Aztec, Inca, Umayyad, Abbasids, Delhi, Vikings, Franks and Feudalism

AP Viking essay: Due Tuesday for A1 and A3; Wed for B - 6
Viking Essay:
Two options are available. The first is to compare and contrast the Viking strategy for expansion, accomplishments as an empire and their longterm influences to the Muslim expansion, accomplishments and long term influence between 700- 1200.
Make a double T chart and list the unique things about the Muslims, unique things about the Vikings and their similarities. Be sure to list unique things and similarities for how they expanded, their accomplishments and their long term influences. You will write a thesis statement answering the question and then one body paragraph for expansion compare and contrast, accomplishments compare and contrast and long term influence compare and contrast.
If that seems way to hard then tackle the simpler prompt which is: Describe the expansion, accomplishments and long term influence of the Vikings.

Write the DBQ given in class
Answer the question on the DBQ given in class (Analyze the Han and Roman attitudes toward technology). Be sure to include a thesis that answers the question and previews the main ideas you will have in your essay. You might organize your essay into three parts such as Rome, Han and similarities OR people who like tech, people who don't and people who like it a bit OR political documents, social documents, economic documents OR philosophical docs, official docs and what workers think. Whatever you choose be CERTAIN TO ANSWER THE QUESTION.
In your essay, be sure each paragraph includes at least one example of how a person's perspective changes what they say about a document (Bias) and one group of documents (two or more documents that agree about the answer to the question.
